Moving Your Mountains

Recently I was watching a television program where the goal was to tear away a part of a mountain so that a road could be built. This mountain was a huge obstacle in the way of the developer's vision for this area, and so he had to construct a plan in order for that mountain to come down. He gathered all of the right people and right equipment, and kept on the task until the job was done. End result: The mountain was moved and a new road was set in place!

How many of us have mountains in our lives that need to be moved? Your mountain may not be a physical mountain, but it may be an illness, a pile of debt, a problem with a relationship, or even a wrong attitude. Whatever mountain you are facing today, know that God gives us a perfect set of instructions that He wants us to follow so that our mountain will be an obstacle no more…

Let's look at Mark 11:22-25 . "And Jesus answered them, ‘Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, be taken up and thrown into the sea and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses."

The God Factor

There have been times that we as Christians completely forget or ignore the power of our identity as a new creation. The bible says in 2 cor 5:17 17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” New Living Translation. Now that newness of life transcends the physical. I have often heard a lot of converts testify and says things like “Hey praise God! You know what; I used to be an addict but all that is history now. Oh I’ve killed a lot of people but today I preach the gospel” Well, yes that’s good…I mean that’s really good. After all, Jesus never came for the righteous; he came for the unsaved and there’s joy in heaven over on single soul that comes out of the darkness into God’s marvelous light. As true as that is…people of God; there is MORE! God isn’t merely contented with your salvation No! Your salvation is only the beginning. Your new identity offers far more than a mental or physical transformation.

For God is Love

1 John 4:7-21 teaches us all about God and his perfect love for us. Since God is love, how is this love reflected in our christian walk. When you look in your inner self, do you see yourself loving like our Lord Jesus Christ. The bible tells us that he that loves not does not know God. This is very true as the christian faith is founded on the word love. There is nothing in a born again believer's life without Love. For God is love, what is love. In the book of 1corinthians 13 we get a deeper understanding of the christian love.Love is kind, suffers long it never fails, keeps no record of wrongs and it never fails.

Courage to obey God

Sticking to what you beleave, even when this makes life difficult, shows that you are a courageous person. Sometimes this is hard, especially if it means going against what all your friends are doing. Just obey God and leave all the consequences to Him.

True Love is not Judgmental

When you seek the welfare of others rather than judging them, you are God like.  A less fortunate person than yourself should be the object of your love not criticism.  Whether their misfortune is their own doing or lack thereof, you, who would claim the favor of God, should have nothing but compassion for them.

When I was a child, my grandfather made a great impression on me.  He over heard me talking about someone in a not so flattering way.  His one statement left me feeling embarrassed and ashamed – “If you cannot say something nice about someone then say nothing at all.”

Cry out to God to help you. Do not rely on your own strength, but humble yourself and turn to Him. He understand your distress and you sorrow. Let Him comfort your soul and strengthen your spirit, for He sees the tears you shed when no one is looking. In time when you are too troubled to speak, just call on God and He will embrace you with peace and comfort. Always remember that God is your Rock; the Most High is your Redeemer.

Healing hands of GOD

Through my Lord Jesus, may the brokenhearted be healed, may the captives be set free. May I lead those who are imprisoned in sin to be released from their pits of darkness. I pray that you will know the healing power of my Lord Jesus Christ. May He touch your body today and cure you of any disease or sickness.

May you believe that there is no illness too daunting for His power, or too trivial for His compassion. Whether it is the common cold or cancer that is ailing you, I pray that you will trust that Jesus can heal it. He is the Lord who will protect you and preserve your life.

He will sustain you in your sick bed and restore you. May you receive your healing today.

Who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those trouble by evil spirits were cure, and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all. Luke 6:18-19
