What the Bible says about…purpose?

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 )

Daydreaming has been something that I have been guilty of. In fact, when I was a child in elementary school I had more than one report card sent home in which the teacher would mention my ‘daydreaming' and how it sometimes got in the way of my paying attention, participating, and even completing an assignment. To this day I don't know what started my habitual daydreaming, but I do know that it is something that I continue to do a lot of even as an adult.

• God's purpose in comforting us is to make us a testimony to others
• God carries us through trials so we can carry others trials
• God strengthens us so we can strengthen others
• God helps us so we can help others
• God encourages us so we can encourage other

It seems that everyone is looking for someone or something to believe in these days. Hope and the promise of a better tomorrow seem like fading memories as the days blend one to another.

Will my life have any meaning, any purpose, or will I just live, then die and blend into nothingness? If I did die tomorrow, where would I go? What would happen to me, to my soul, to my spirit? Ever wonder what happens to someone after they die? In that context, ever wonder about yourself and what might happen to you? Ever wonder why Christians don't fear death as most people do?
