Working Your Walk Without Fear

When you get born again, you start a new life in Christ. As your walk matures, God starts revealing to you your purpose in him. When this happens, you can chose to trust him and go forward with what God has for you or you can disobey him and walk away. When you disobey his will, this starts a life of misery and discontentment in everything that you do. Eventually you will come back to him asking for repentance and a chance to do his will again.

If you chose to trust God and do his will, some setbacks may arise on your journey. These might be financial lack and rejection from those close to you. At first, no one will understand why you chose to quit a lucrative job in a prestigious firm and become a missionary or caregiver at some organization caring for the less privileged. Since you are not making as much as you used to, you might be forced to go back to those people who rejected your move and ask for help. Most often than not, they will ridicule you and chase you away.
What I want to tell you is, God did not call you so as you live in suffering, shame and rejection. It might last for a short time as God works on your character. He will not allow you to die in the work he has called you to do. Instead, he is going to prosper you and make his glory be seen in you. Know that if you are in his will, it is his bill too. He will provide for all your needs for as David said, the young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but they that seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. Ps 34:10. Also in Ps 37:25 the Bible says, I have been young but now am old yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken nor his offspring begging for bread. These were the words of David King of Israel.
