When I was young and tried to read the Bible, I found it very difficult to understand. The Old Testament had many negative things that scared me. Because I was young and didn't understand, I became afraid and stopped reading. I eventually realized what a mistake I had made, because I missed so much inspiration which could have helped me through the years.

Now I am older, I have read the scriptures, all the way through, five times and each time I find new gems that bless me and my life. Pondering the scriptures brings inspiration and joy. The scriptures have become a vital part of my life as God reveals his words and hidden mysteries to me. I read them every day.
