A grudge is defined as "deep-seated animosity or ill-feeling toward someone or something." We can develop this feeling when someone says or does something that hurts us or they receive something we feel we should have gotten.

That happens to us almost every day in the workplace.

At work we're each trying to get our needs met – for approval, for achievement, for social interaction – while also working to accomplish the goals of the business. When we accept a job and the role of employee we accept that the goals of the business are more important than our personal goals during the time we're at work. That's the nature of teamwork – that we all agree to pull in the same direction.

IT'S ALREADY ALRIGHT!

The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Isaiah 58:11

I feel it in my spirit it's already alright. Confirmation received! Proclaim it friends: it's already alright! We walk by faith not by sight. Yolanda Adams bellowed out that song while I was headed down Settlers Landing Road, almost at my designation of work. I didn't have to ponder what Yolanda Adams was singing or possibly why.

Do Whatever He Tells You To Do

God wants you to believe that His power will be displayed in any situation; He is worthy of our love, worship and total trust. If you put your request to Him in prayers and He asked you to do certain things, which look foolish to the human wisdom, the only option you have is to follow His instructions.

Once you follow His instructions to the letter, you will have your miracle in the end. The Bible says "But God chose the foolish things of this world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong" 1 Corinthians 1:27 . The wisdom of man is like filthy rags to God, but our God is the all-wise God. Human knowledge seems impressive, but God-kind of knowledge and wisdom are above all.

The Facts Of Faith

The Bible defined Faith as the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of unseen realities. A lot of people either misunderstood this definition or wrongly apply it to their situations.

Faith no matter how small –even as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. Faith says "I may not have seen those things I desire with my optical eyes yet they are very real to me". Faith is the proof of the existence of something that is not tangible to the senses. However, Faith is not the denial of facts…

Faith at Work

In the Bible, there is a famous story of the woman with an issue of blood. This lady had suffered for twelve years and had spent all that she had searching for a cure. Am sure she was very weak and frail due to losing blood for all that time.

When she came to Jesus, all she wanted is to touch the hem of his garment. She did not even want Jesus to know what she was about to do. She made her way through the crowds to where he was. This must have been very tiring and cumbersome for her considering how frail and weak she was. She refused to give up for she knew where her miracle was. She believed with all of her mind that touching his garment would make her whole. She did exactly that and immediately, the blood ceased to flow.

What Does it Mean to Have Faith?

Faith is mentioned in the bible over 422 times, Faith defined is trust or confidence in a person or thing. The Christian theology version describes faith as trust in God and his promises as made by Christ and the Scriptures through which we are justified and saved. The opposite of faith is doubt, distrust, disbelief, and rejection. We all must have some form of faith as we face the world each day, for example we have faith in little things like our car will get us to work, or that we will receive our paycheck at the end of the week. Unfortunately some put to much confidence in a person or things that demonstrate to be unfaithful like the stock market, housing industry, careers, marriages and other “things”. Obviously we live in a fallen world and have little control over others. Is there really anything truly worthy of our faith?

First Things First

Thought:  How to live free from worry

Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Our first priority is to seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness means to turn to him first for help, to fill your thoughts with his desires, to take his character for your pattern, and to serve and obey him in everything.  What is really important to you?  People, objects, goals and other desires all compete for priority.  Any of these can quickly bump God out of first place if you don’t actively choose to give him first place in your life.

“Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.”  ~Leo Buscaglia
