Promotion is an encouragement to advance from one level to a higher level. It is an elevation in position or rank either in your workplace, ministry or community. Promotion does not come from the east, west, north or south; it only comes from the Lord.

The bible says in Psalm 75:6-7 , "No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt a man. But it is God who judges: He brings one down, He exalts another." It is advisable not to look unto man or impress him so that he can promote you. If man promotes you today, he can demote you tomorrow. But when God promotes you, no one can ever demote you. You will enjoy the promotion with peace and joy and HIS name will be glorified in your life.
