When you seek the welfare of others rather than judging them, you are God like. A less fortunate person than yourself should be the object of your love not criticism. Whether their misfortune is their own doing or lack thereof, you, who would claim the favor of God, should have nothing but compassion for them.
When I was a child, my grandfather made a great impression on me. He over heard me talking about someone in a not so flattering way. His one statement left me feeling embarrassed and ashamed – “If you cannot say something nice about someone then say nothing at all.”
Cry out to God to help you. Do not rely on your own strength, but humble yourself and turn to Him. He understand your distress and you sorrow. Let Him comfort your soul and strengthen your spirit, for He sees the tears you shed when no one is looking. In time when you are too troubled to speak, just call on God and He will embrace you with peace and comfort. Always remember that God is your Rock; the Most High is your Redeemer.
Through my Lord Jesus, may the brokenhearted be healed, may the captives be set free. May I lead those who are imprisoned in sin to be released from their pits of darkness. I pray that you will know the healing power of my Lord Jesus Christ. May He touch your body today and cure you of any disease or sickness.
May you believe that there is no illness too daunting for His power, or too trivial for His compassion. Whether it is the common cold or cancer that is ailing you, I pray that you will trust that Jesus can heal it. He is the Lord who will protect you and preserve your life.
He will sustain you in your sick bed and restore you. May you receive your healing today.
Who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those trouble by evil spirits were cure, and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all. Luke 6:18-19
