Enjoy Life-Life in Jesus Christ

How has life been to you? Would you recommend your type of life to someone else? Life really can be full of excitement if you have the right foundation. This article tells you why life in Jesus Christ enables you to enjoy life

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name - John 20:31 (KJV) (Emphasis mine)

Life without Christ is a life with crisis. Life is more than possession of wealth, position or power. Some people who have these and more are still miserable. Some of them even commit suicide. Yet in this life, there are some people who actually enjoy life. What is their secret? It is a life in Jesus Christ.

Having Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour is the greatest asset one can have in life. It is the right foundation to build on. It is possession of Jesus as your Lord, then other goodies that make life enjoying.

What to enjoy in Christ?

1. Life of peace
Absolute peace can only be found in Jesus Christ. It is only when you have Jesus that you can be passing through challenges and still have peace. Presently the world is in chaos but believers are in peace. Their faith is in Jesus who takes care of them in every situation and has NEVER failed them.

2. Joy
Life in Jesus Christ is one full of joy that is not dependent on circumstances but on God's love and supremacy. That is, life bubbling with joy, come rain, come sunshine. To enjoy life is to be rejoicing all the time. This, you can achieve when you are in Christ.

3. Righteousness
Some people desire to live a life without sin but this goal has been far-fetched for them. They make New Year resolutions and fall short of them after a while. Jesus Christ gives you the power to overcome sin. It is practically impossible to live a righteous life without Christ.

4. Security
There is no complex in a life in Christ. A believer is secured in Christ. He knows who he is as a child of God. There is also no fear in a life in Jesus Christ. Insecurity causes people to do all manner of things that will make them not to enjoy life.

5. Contentment
Godliness with contentment is great gain. Greed is insatiable. It deprives people the ability to really enjoy life. These people spend their time, energy, money, etc trying to satisfy their greed, only to increase it the more. But in Christ you are content with every level per time and you will enjoy every step of the way.

Life is exciting when Jesus is your Lord and saviour. Believe In Him and have life through His name.

God is Love and He loves you unconditionally. You do not have to do anything to earn His amazing love and He sees you as His beloved. In a display of unparalleled love, Jesus left His Father in Heaven and came to earth. He gave His life as an offering to God on the cross for all mankind.

Jesus loves you so much more than anyone else possibly could and He is truly amazing. Just to think that He loves you is so wonderful. God's love for us is as expansive as the open arms of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. Sometimes, when we face challenges in life, we are tempted to think that God has forgotten us. We may even believe that He no longer loves us.
When you surrender yourself to God's control, you relinquish or give up any power and yield yourself totally to the Almighty God. You also allow your desires and attitudes to be challenged, and over-ruled by God. Total surrendering is saying, "Yes Lord" to whatever He asks you to do.

Surrendered people obey God, even when it does not make sense to them and other people around them. You will get fantastic results when you decide to surrender totally to God, for His glory. When you let go and let God, you know you are totally yielded to God.

The battle Is The Lord's And Not Yours

Author: Ronke Immanuel

In the secular world, a battle is described as a fight between two opposing individuals, a contest or a struggle towards a goal. But a spiritual battle is waged by satan, the enemy of our soul and the accuser of the brethren, against the people of God. Whatever battle you are facing, when you focus on the enemy, you stumble, but when you focus on God, the enemy stumbles. We are not unaware of satan's devices, but he is a defeated foe and he can never win, because our God has got the ultimate power.

Confident Trust In The Savior

Author: Leila Egerton

I am blessed because I confidently place my trust in Him. Jeremiah 17:7 says, "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him".

I've talked about trusting Jesus a little bit before, but I want to explore the topic of trust some more. I want to show you through some of the experiences I have had with Jesus that He is always there, right here, right now. In one of my earlier articles I've said that it may be hard for some to trust anyone, especially someone you can't see or, possibly, even hear. But trust is something that has to be developed. You can't just walk up to someone you don't know and say that you immediately trust them.

Your Help Only Comes From The Lord

Help is described as a way of making things better or easier for us and also to aid or assist us in everything we do. The bible tells us in Psalm 46:1 , "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." HE is a tested Helper in every situation we may find ourselves.

We do not need to fear because God is always near us and will help us whenever we need help. He cares for us in every situation and He is a safe place to hide, ready to help when we need Him. Prayer puts us in touch with God and we just have to ask Him to help us during our journey of life. He is always waiting to hear from us.

God's Word tells us in Psalm 60:11 , "Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless." If you bank on man to help you, you will be greatly disappointed as man's help is useless and it is vanity upon vanity. Man has no power or means to help you; your help only comes from the Lord.

God call us to work

To reach any goal in life requires consistency and work. God has different work for different people, some are sent to do some things, others are sent to work in other areas. The Bible teaches us different ways to work in the Kingdom of God.

God calls to work with Him
Haggai 2:4 "Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel; says the Lord; and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land; says the Lord, and work; for I am with you, says the Lord of Hosts." To work for Jesus requires sacrifice, and the Bible encourages us to keep going forward.

God calls for immediate work
Matthew 21:28 "But what do you think? A man had two sons, and He came to his first and said, Son, go work today in my vineyard." Sometimes, the tasks that we have to do require time, but sometimes we need to do it right now. These are the words in this verse.

The Blessings Of Forgiveness

We all have heard that it is better to forgive our enemies or those whom have done us wrongly. I know, personally speaking, that that can be a lot harder to do than said. The thing to remember though is that when you forgive another, you are not releasing them from their guilt or the responsibility of their actions.

Quite the opposite is true. When you forgive another for causing harm (or disharmony) in your life, you re actually freeing yourself so that your soul can mature and grow. Every time you forgive someone of something or of some way they have harmed you, you are releasing the toxins of hurt, pain, guilt, helplessness etcetera and purging them out of your mind and soul.

Forgiveness is saying "I forgive you for your sins against me and mine because you are you and that's just the way you are." (You don't know any better). As you do this it remember, it's not between you and them, it's because it's between them and God. The Lord frees you from the toxicity that has, up until now, contaminated your life and held you back from all the riches the Lord wants so to lavish upon you, the upright.

Do not worry

I don't know if I can get this done in time. I am running out of options here. What do I do if this happens? What about if that happens? I'm so stressed out! I don't know what I'm going to do. Help! Have you ever felt that way? We all have at some time or another. Too many deadlines at work. Too much schoolwork to handle this week. Too many bills and not enough money. Whoa, slow down there! Breathe, just breathe. And after you take that deep breath, just relax. You say, "But I have this and I have that." No. Just relax. It's not doing you any good to stress about everything and anything. You're only hurting yourself physically, emotionally and spiritually. In fact, what you're doing is worrying. And worrying never solved anything. All it does is make you worry about worrying. And what good is that? No good at all!

Grumbling Does Not Honour God – Part 1

Grumbling is the act of complaining and muttering in discontent about someone or something. It is also aimed at finding fault or dissatisfaction about a situation. A complaining Christian is a contradiction to what God expects from them.

The biblical principle is set out in Philippians 2:14-15 , "Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe." This is a very important and powerful scripture from the Word of God and we should all take it seriously.

Our God does not condone grumbling as it stinks in His nostrils. Complaining or muttering about anything demonstrates a lack of faith in God. When we are faced with problems, we usually resort to grumbling, rather than trusting the Lord to handle them. We often focus on the problems instead of focusing on God and looking for the opportunities before us.
