When the mechanic was asked what made the tyres “special” he simply smiled and said “NOTHING”. Now let’s take a look at the scriptures…. Proverbs 15 vs 4 “Gentle words are a tree of life a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit” The fastest way to kill a dying man is to tell him that he is dying. He would live in fear and anxiety for his remaining days on earth. In truth, although he lives physically…he will be a shadow of himself. What keeps us going in that dark tunnel is not the darkness. What keeps us going is the slightest glimpse of light. That’s all we need to “kill the pain” And keep the ball rolling. The importance of words cannot ever be over emphasized. Words are POTENT, words are POWERFUL. Words have creative and destructive ability. Gen 1 vs 1-3 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. 3 Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. Now I want you to carefully observe that scripture. The earth was a chaotic mass, the earth was in darkness, a thick one at that. Despite all these formidably great circumstances; all God did was SPEAK. Now that’s humanly insane! No rational being would think it right to do such in a calamitous occasion needing prompt attention as that.

You see; all that a man would ever become in his life, is based upon nothing more than WORDS. God demonstrates to us the potency of words. That’s the first action he took. He simply spoke. Let me ask you a question. What would you do if your mother told you you were her favorite? Would you not do everything you can to keep it that way? Who are you listening to? Who is talking to you? A lot of beautiful, wonderful and gifted people would still be alive today if only they heard the right words. The words that would ignite hope and rekindle joy in their hearts. Words that would give them refuge and solace. The word of life…the final word, THE LAST WORD. What is the last word? The last word…Every product has a manual…that manual is the manufacture’s last words to the end user. We are made of God, we are His products. His words to us are the last words. It doesn’t matter what your father or mother told you. It doesn’t matter what the doctor said. It doesn’t matter what you even tell yourself! What counts is God’s unfailing and undiluted word. If He tells you something…STICK WITH IT! Refuse to believe anything less. Until this happens…you will never be fulfilled.
