Never Say No

Do you watch TBN Trinity broadcasting Network? If you don’t, I think now would be a very very good time to start. See I was so blessed by one program I watched one particular Monday evening. Andy Andrew; a best selling author and motivational speaker. He currently writes for Network times. I was so inspired that I was just so curious to know more about him.

You know it was almost like the presenter read my mind; he interrupted Andy at some point and said “ Andy...isn’t this rather so amazing; 2yrs ago ,no one knew the name Andy Andrew...but right now well...a lot has changed, what can you say about that?” And Andy respond that his publicity was indeed a miracle because for thity years he had lived under a bridge. Yes ! you heard me right, i didn’t say 5yrs or 10yrs; Andy lived under the bridge for 30 solid years!Okay, I’ll like to ask a question at this point, what went wrong? I mean did God take a hike? You mean no one was sane enough to offer him some little form of comfort! Some home , some shelter ..you know something like that. But did that happen ? Well the big answer is NO! I will tell you why God seemingly left him.

You know, the bible says “And we know that God causes everything to work together[28] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them”. Romans8:28 Okay let’s take a quick look at another scripture. In the book of 2 cor 4 : 17 For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! Did you read that ? That was the reason God left Andy under the bridge for 30 long yrs. That was the same reason God turned His back on the savior of humanity, the bread of life; the brighter morning star; Jesus Christ, when He was on the cross.

That’s why He watched me walk away from a job that looked promising, lost a relationship that was almost perfect and finally yes...the scholarship from the University of East London didn’t pull through. You know something, God knows the end...even before the beginning begins. Today in the U.S, Andy Andrews; is a life changer; one word from him...restores hope to families. One word from him turns an addict to a preacher. He just wrote a book you know, he titled it “The Butterfly Effect” I’ve not read it, but he said a few words about it.

Boy! thank God for a guy like that. Thank God he went through it all. The pain, the trauma and hurt. You want to know something more...had I not gone through all those challenges in the past,I won’t be this much of a blessing to people through this web and all over the world at large. Hey! What can I say...Thank God for challenges. Never ever say No! Not now or ever. Even in the deepest pit, stand up, fight and win. Stay blessed. Never say No.
