Amazing! There was no preacher, there was no one else with him; but the Holy Spirit was right there with him when even when you didn’t know. The Holy Spirit is awesome. As Christians; we must understand where our strength lies. Now, saying that does not imply that we have weaknesses, because we don’t. But what I am simply trying to communicate is that there are some things that can really activate our spirit and the spirit of God and launches us into an atmosphere of the miraculous. The opening Scripture , as simply as is appears is powerfully imbedded with words that can bring about anything to happen in your life; even now. Are you going somewhere? Wait, this revelation would change your life forever I promise. Why am I so certain of this; well God told me.
David was an extraordinary person… everything about that guy brought attention. I mean everything. He was endowed, even as a shepherd boy. Think about it how many shepherd boys could kill a bear and a lion. The guy was powerful; I think you should go over the story of his encounter with goliath over again. I’m so sure you’ll find something you’ve missed. So this guy sits one day; takes an “inventory” of his life and says: You know what! It does matter what a child of God faces; God will never let him suffer or even his children lack. “The bills are you much, the banks are coming to reprocess my house; wife is at the hospital; I can’t even afford to pay for her surgery” These are some of the normal human challenges.

Some Christians too find themselves in these situation, I was one of them; but thank God for the Holy Spirit, all that has changed. Now, you want to know why David loved to praise God so much. Okay I will tell you. You can never relate with anyone beyond your knowledge of that person. Why do you talk to your mother the way you do? Okay I get it; so why do you kiss your wife so often without giving a thought to it? She is Your WIFE. I mean your very own WIFE! Would you need a permission to hug her? I think not. Infact it would only imply one thing INSANITY! David understood God, he knew that nothing could successfully defeat him. I just knew it. He knew he had a very very big, mighty and caring God. He knew it.

Now , it was that knowledge that transformed a normal teenager to an extraordinary being that even the almighty God had to affirm to be a man after His heart. Are still with me? He knew the end of this challenges before they even happened, he knew he would subdue them; he knew he would win; so instead of trying to make a meaning out of the situation he found himself; david did something much more better; he praised God for it. Halleluyah! That’s the key. Thank God for every challenge that comes your way. Be very grateful, because it’s another way you to experience the unflinching faithfulness of God once more.
