One major attribute of every living being is growth. Only inanimate object do not exhibit this characteristic. You know something, a great man of God once described Christianity as “the living pulsating life of God at work in a man’s life” How true that is. The bible says in Heb 4 vs 2. “For the word of God is living and sharper than any two edged sword”

I said all that to show you something. As children of God; God expects our relationship with Him to increase and expand. God wants us to make visible proof of our union with Him. He is not interested in always hearing the same kind of prayers we prayed ten years ago or 5yrs ago.

Just like every other father… ours is very cautious of our spiritual advancement. Our journey with divinity should not be heard by the words of our lips alone. It should be seen even with the way we deal with terrestrial elements alike. Especially the ones that the almighty Himself has told us to dominate.

Are you still struck down with the same kind of disease that held you bound 6yrs ago? Well…the truth is you have not grown yet. Are you still saying the same kind of prayers you said when you just got saved? You are yet to expand. Of course you might feel perfectly whole and complete; but I assure you God expects more!

You know the bible says… “Our God is the God that calleth the things that be not as though they were” He is one God that says only what He wants to see; not what He sees. The creation story shows us this very clearly. The earth was in chaos. But God spoke and it came to pass.

It is not enough to pray. However when you begin to act as though your prayers is answered even when nothing seems to have happened physically…Then you are getting some where. That’s faith! The bible says in Heb 11 vs 6 “for without faith, it is impossible to please God”

Yes , you see the tumor, it is true you heard the news . Okay you see the fire…but you choose to not acknowledge it. You feel the heat, but you ignore it. Rather than retreat and surrender, you charge. Rather, than submit; you declare that you are in charge. That’s precisely what our Heavenly father wants! To laugh through the pain, sing even in hurt. To smile in trials.

Christianity is not a call into festivities. There would be challenges, earth quaking challenges. Jesus said it. But as children of the most high God… we are indestructible. “Whatsoever that is born of God overcomes the world” That debt should not hold you down. What did the doctor tell you? It’s a lie! Lamentation 3 vs 37 “Who is He that speaketh and it cometh to pass when the lord hath not spoken” Whose report will you believe? The people or the fourth man in that fiery Furnace? Go get your dancing shoes and Dance through that fire! Do it now!
