There have been times that we as Christians completely forget or ignore the power of our identity as a new creation. Now that newness of life transcends the physical. I have often heard a lot of converts testify and says things like “Hey praise God! You know what; I used to be an addict but all that is history now. Oh I’ve killed a lot of people but today I preach the gospel” Well, yes that’s good…I mean that’s really good. After all, Jesus never came for the righteous; he came for the unsaved and there’s joy in heaven over on single soul that comes out of the darkness into God’s marvelous light. As true as that is…people of God; there is MORE! God isn’t merely contented with your salvation No! Your salvation is only the beginning. Your new identity offers far more than a mental or physical transformation.
