I am blessed because I confidently place my trust in Him. Jeremiah 17:7
says, "But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him".
I've talked about trusting Jesus a little bit before, but I want to explore the topic of trust some more. I want to show you through some of the experiences I have had with Jesus that He is always there, right here, right now. In one of my earlier articles I've said that it may be hard for some to trust anyone, especially someone you can't see or, possibly, even hear. But trust is something that has to be developed. You can't just walk up to someone you don't know and say that you immediately trust them.
The psalmist had a partial trust in the Lord and a partial trust in his own great strength. As he strength is waning due to the passage of time, he is called to a fuller trust to the Lord and a retrospective view that he could have had this fuller trust all along and now even if the Lord revives his strength to its earlier heights which he still may do for the psalmist.
