Once I heard a young man say “our life is a result of the choices we make” Well, that statement is an absolute truth. It brings to mind the story of Moses and the burning bush in Moses and the Burning Bush 1One day Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro,[1] the priest of Midian. He led the flock far into the wilderness and came to Sinai,[1] the mountain of God.2 There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire from the middle of a bush. Moses stared in amazement. Though the bush was engulfed in flames, it didn't burn up.3"This is amazing," Moses said to himself. "Why isn't that bush burning up? I must go see it." 4When the LORD saw Moses coming to take a closer look, God called to him from the middle of the bush, "Moses! Moses!" "Here I am!" Moses replied. 5"Do not come any closer," the LORD warned. "Take off your sandals, for you are standing on holy ground.6I am the God of your father[6]—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." When Moses heard this, he covered his face because he was afraid to look at God” Moses had a choice; he could have chosen to ignore the voice and the strange occurrence of the “unburnt yet burning bush” Yes it was abnormal, but he still could have turned a blind eye. The normal human senses would have said “hello man take a bloody hike! And that would have made a whole lot of sense. But he didn’t; he didn’t. You see God would always constantly do something somehow to get our attention. That attention is to make you aware of His presence and willingness to use you in a most extraordinary way to effect a positive change in your situation Saul of tarsus was a persecutor of the saints. He planned and strategized solely to destroy God’s people. He made a huge success out of it. He was greatly feared even amongst the believers in his time.
I remember clearly a scripture in the bible where our lord Jesus Christ in Matt 17:20
said “And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, say this mountain, remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” In other words, what Jesus meant was, hey it doesn’t matter how small you feel your faith is, just USE IT! Let me quickly add this, my pastor once told me about the mustard seed, he said it was the smallest seed in the world. I believe him.
Now imagine that, to think that all God actually wants from you is an evidence of your faith; not necessarily the size. The bible says in the books of Hebrews 11:6
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” At this point I really want to want you to pay intention. You see; the lack of comprehension of this revelation is the reason a lot of Christians live a life far below what the scripture declares belongs to us. You do not need a big or strong faith to cause the miracle you seek, no.
What then do you need to do? One thing I want you understand about our heavenly father is that He always uses what you have to create what YOU want! Are you born again? If you are then you’ve got faith…For God has given us a measure of faith. Every child of God has some level of faith. What counts is not whether or not you have faith, because you do. It doesn’t also matter whether you’ve got a big faith or small faith. If our lord Jesus Christ himself could declare that even if your faith is as small as the smallest seed in the world, you’ll declare a thing and you will see it happen; that tells you that the most important thing as a growing Christian is not the size of your faith; what is important is the usage of it…your faith.
Exodus 3:14
“And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you”
Truthfully, the above scripture doesn’t sound so spectacular you know. Especially when you read it calmly to yourself the way I just did. Well, that’s why you see you really need the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to actually deduce His intended communication of the scripture to you.
David said in Psalms 37:25 “Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandonedor their children begging for bread” I know you know the scripture it’s pretty popular. Well the spirit of God gave me a deeper revelation on it, shortly I would share it with you. You see the Christian faith is not passive; no it is active and practical. It goes beyond the written pages of the bible. You must understand that the only way to experience and actually live the victorious life you have been called into, is through enlightenment and understanding by the spirit of God himself, never forget that.
You know I heard a very remarkable story once of this prisoner whose life changed drastically and eventually got saved through just one scripture. The bible was a gift from a priest who only visited on Sundays, well day after day this prisoner tore the pages of the bible, I think he did it just for the fun of it. That continued until one day….That day, only one page remained; and guess what? That day was the day he got saved.
I’m not married yet you know. But there’s this lady I’m almost engaged to, if you understand what I’m talking about.; Of course, she is a Christian; well she’s wonderful and absolutely challenging in a positive way. Don’t worry you will meet her someday hopefully. Yesterday; she came around my training center; she was not in her usual mood. A neighbor of hers had died. I knew the woman: she was a Christian, a very committed one at that. She had also lost her husband a couple of years ago.
When chaos occurs in our lives it usually means that the Lord is rearranging things for a blessing!
Do you watch TBN Trinity broadcasting Network? If you don’t, I think now would be a very very good time to start. See I was so blessed by one program I watched one particular Monday evening. Andy Andrew; a best selling author and motivational speaker. He currently writes for Network times. I was so inspired that I was just so curious to know more about him.
Words…They make us…And they break us. I remember a movie I watched once; this race driver had always been a loser, just when he wanted to call it quit; his sponsor introduced him to a mechanic. This mechanic didn’t have any spectacular record whatsoever; but somehow he helped that race driver win the most significant race in his driving career. The big question is…how did he do it? I tell you…He gave the driver special tyres. According to him, they were the “WINNING TYRES”. So when “Loser driver” drove that race car; he knew it was simply impossible for him to lose. Why? Something was different about him; about his car… the tyres.
